Thought this might be of interest - a collection of rare Soviet children’s books and other graphic art from 1927-1948: http://news.uchicago.edu/article/2011/08/10/exhibition-highlights-rare-collection-soviet-children-s-books-and-graphic-art And if you won't be in Chicago before December, you can find a web exhibit of it online at: http://www.lib.uchicago.edu/e/webexhibits/sovietchildrensbooks/index.html There are many pictures that can be clicked in order to get a slideshow of the pages of the books so that you can read them (in Russian). Seems like a real gem for Vygotsky scholars. Lots about circulating ideas about children in this era. -greg
